
Utica Man Charged With Introducing Contraband Into Oneida County Jail
A Utica man has been arrested for introducing contraband into the Oneida County Correctional Facility.
According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Office, a Corrections Officer witnessed 20-year-old Timothy Pinkney allegedly pass something to an incarcerated acquaintance.
It was later determined a small amount of marijuana was passed. Pinkney, who was a NYS Parolee, was charged with Promoting Prison Contraband and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. He was remanded to the Oneida County Jail without bail.
