A Utica man has been arrested for allegedly threatening an Oneida County Social Services worker.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says 61-year old Alonso Morales made a phone call to the Department of Social Services and became enraged and impatient while talking to a worker about a problem he had.

Investigators say Morales told the worker over the phone that quote -- "Maybe I will come down there and kill someone" before hanging up.

Morales was charged with aggravated harassment.

He'll appear in Utica City Court at a later date.
