Utica Man Facing Drug Charges Following Traffic Stop

Utica, NY (WIBX) - A Utica man was taken into police custody following a traffic stop yesterday around 10:13 p.m. According to the report, 41-year-old Michael Getz was pulled over on the 900 block of Stark Street after a traffic violation.

Officials say Getz was found with illegal drugs and taken to jail. The suspect is charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana. He was also issued two tickets for the traffic infraction, (improper signal use).
