Utica Police Cracking Down On Unpaid Parking Tickets
Utica Police are cracking down on motorists with unpaid parking tickets
Since February 20th, the UPD has placed parking boots on 23 motor vehicles due to outstanding parking fines.
Vehicles with three unpaid parking tickets in an 18-month period can be booted.
Once the vehicle is booted, the vehicle will be towed and impounded.
The vehicle will not be released until a $150 fee for the removal of the boot is paid, along with payment of all outstanding parking fines and any towing and impoundment fees.
