Utica Teen Crashes, Arrested for DWI

New Hartford, NY (WIBX) - A Utica teenager was arrested Sunday morning (October 2, 2011) on DWI charges,  after the vehicle she was driving crashes on State Rt. 840 near the Middle Settlement Road intersection.

New Hartford Police arrested 17-year-old Cindy Tran on DWI after their investigation revealed that Tran was driving too fast to negotiate the ramp. Her vehicle flipped over, injuring her passenger.

Authorities also ticket Tran for Unreasonable Speed and Operating Out of Class with a Junior Operator License. According to police, Tran tried blaming the accident on a deer in the roadway.
