Utica’s Veterans Day Parade Takes Place On Saturday

Utica's Veterans Day parade is taking place on Saturday, November 7th.

The parade will begin at 11:00 in front of Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

The Genesis Group is partnering with the City and the Good News Foundation for the parade and Flags for Heroes Ceremony.

Volunteers spent Friday lining the Parkway in Utica with 1,000 American flags.

It’s part of the the Good News Foundation’s “Flags For Heroes and Families” initiative to honor veterans, active military and their families.
