Vancouver Canucks Recall Richard Bachman From Utica Comets

Utica Comets goaltender Richard Bachman is headed to Vancouver.

Canucks General Manager Jim Benning made the announcement on Tuesday.

Bachman has appeared in 21 games with the Comets this season, posting a record of 10-7-4 along with a .899 save percentage and 2.89 goals-against average.

In a separate transaction, Comets General Manager Ryan Johnson announced the club has recalled goaltender Michael Garteig from the Kalamazoo Wings of the ECHL.

The Comets, who have earned a point in 16 straight games, will host the Lehigh Valley Phantoms on Wednesday night.
