Vernon Downs Aims To Raise $50,000 For Flood Relief

The Vernon Downs Casino and Hotel is announcing plans to donate all proceeds from their Champions Buffet to the local American Red Cross Disaster Relief fund. The Vernon Downs Casino and Hotel along with American Racing and Entertainment Chairman Jeff Gural hope to raise at least $50,000 to help victims of the Mohawk Valley flooding in June.

During the Week of Monday August 12 to Sunday August 18, any patron who donates $5 will get a free buffet. Patrons are encouraged to donate more than the required $5, and any donations above that will be matched by Gural up to $50 per person.
