Verona Man Charged With Trespassing

A Verona man is facing charges for allegedly trying to break into a home on Beacon Light Road in Verona.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office says the homeowners fled the home through a bedroom window and called 911.  Authorities say the suspect left in a car as deputies arrived.

31-year old Mathew Zydzik was found a short time later near the home.

Zydzik is charged with criminal trespass and criminal mischief.
