An increase in patients with flu-like symptoms is forcing Faxton-St. Luke's and St. Elizabeth hospitals to restrict visitors to 18 years and older.

An additional restriction is in place for the Maternity, Nursery and Pediatric Departments because those patients are at a greater risk of complications due to the flu.

The hospital asks that you not visit if you feel ill with any type of respiratory problem.

The restrictions are in place until further notice.

If you are visiting the hospital for treatment and have any flu-like symptoms, you will be asked to wear a mask and may also be isolated from other patients.
