The Oneida County Legislature is set to vote on the agreement reached between Governor Cuomo, the Oneida Indian Nation and Oneida County will take place.

Board of Legislators Minority Leader Frank Tallarino has asked Board Chairman Gerald Fiorini to delay the meeting.

Tallarino says residents need more time to have their questions and concerns addressed.

But Fironi says the governor's office has set a timeframe for the vote and the meeting will not be postponed.

The Madison County legislature must also vote on the compact. Regardless of the votes of the two county lawmakers, the state's agreement with the Oneida National will remain binding.
