Wednesday Is National Coffee With A Cop Day

The Oneida County Sheriff's Office will be holding its next "Sheriff's Community Coffee" event on Wednesday.

It will take place at Panera Bread on Commercial Drive in New Hartford from 8:00 until 11:00 a.m.

Sheriff Rob Maciol says it's a chance for the Sheriff's Office to build a positive relationship with those in the community.

The Utica Police Department will also be hosting a "Coffee With a Cop" event on Wednesday from 8:00 to 10:00 at the Dunkin' Donuts at 1300 Genesee Street

Wednesday is "National Coffee With a Cop" day across the country, with over 17,000 police agencies expected to participate.
