State Police in Marcy arrested a West Winfield woman for buying cold medicines used to make methamphetamine.
The arrest came after a six-month investigation found that Christin Hungerford, 28, had allegedly used false id to buy the supplies at Walgreens pharmacies in New Hartford and Utica.

State Police say Hungerford was charged with 14 counts of forgery, 14 counts of falsifying business records, 14 counts of criminal impersonation and 1 count of criminal possession of stolen property.

She is currently being held at the Oneida County Jail on $10,000 bail.

The investigation is continuing and additional arrests are pending.
