Westmoreland Woman Arrested For Theft

A Baldwinsville woman has been arrested following an investigation into a complaint of a stolen purse on January 4th.

According to the Oneida County Sheriff's Department, Shannon Brownell, 28, allegedly stole a purse from a vehicle in Westmoreland and used a gift card at a Syracuse area Target.

Brownell was arrested and charged with criminal possession of stolen property and will appear in court on Feburary 25.
