Winter Storm Expected to Dump 10-15 Inches of Snow Across Central New York
The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a Winter Storm Warning for much of Central New York.
Beginning Monday evening at 8 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday heavy snow is expected to fall in Northern Oneida, Southern Oneida, and Madison counties. The major cities that will be impacted include Boonville, Utica, Rome, Oneida, and Syracuse.
Snow will be heavy at times with significant blowing and drifting possible. The NWS has advised that road conditions will be very hazardous. In addition to snow covered and slippery roads, visibility will also be a concern. Use caution whenever you have to travel.
We'll see a break from the snow by Thursday with partly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid-20s.
