Wynantskill Man Arrested For Identity Theft

You hear about it all the time and now a Wynantskill man is being charged with identity theft.

31-year old Daryl Wells was arrested for allegedly using the name and account of a woman in Westmoreland to make purchases online.

The incident happened over the summer and investigators say the evidence finally allowed them to make the arrest this weekend.  Oneida County Sheriffs are charging Wells with felonious identity theft in the second degree.
