Rain washed away two of the three games scheduled between the New York Yankees and Detroit Tigers series this weekend.

This after the Yanks took Friday night's contest in the Motor City by an 8-6 final.

Saturday's contest was rained out and rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Sunday. But both of those games were postponed as well.

The two games have been rescheduled as a part of a doubleheader on Monday, June 4, 2018 in Detroit.

New York (7-7) returns to the Bronx for a two-game series with the Derek Jeter's Miami Marlins (4-11). Jeter has said while he'll be in New York this week, he doesn't plan to attend the games at Yankees Stadium, saying it's 'an awkward situation'.
