2013 Mayor’s Benefit Gala Raises $44,000

The proceeds from this year's Mayor's Benefit Gala were presented to Utica Safe Schools this morning.

The event, hosted by Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri and his wife Susan, raised nearly $44,000.

Anne Lansing, the Director of Utica Safe Schools, says the money will be used to support and enhance the services currently provided in the Utica School District.

Over 1,000 people attended this year's event.
