96% Of School District Budgets Pass Statewide

Albany, NY (WIBX) - It was a good day all around for school districts across the state on Tuesday.

The New York State School Boards Association says voters approved over 96% of school  budgets yesterday.

Budgets passed in 651 of the 675 school districts.

The passage rate was 60% in districts exceeding the 2% state property tax cap.

Last year, taxpayers approved 93% of school district budgets statewide.
