After the counting of nearly 700 absentee ballots, Utica Mayor Robert Palmieri has won another term in office.

The Oneida County Board of Elections says Palmieri received 413 absentee votes and challenger Joe Marino got 182 votes.

That brings the vote total to 4,711 for Palmieri and 4,243 for Marino.

Palmieri lead Marino by 237 votes on Election Day.

Republican candidate Matt Arcuri, received a total of 964 votes, with 103 coming from absentee ballots.
