The Oneida County Sheriff's Office is adding to the list of charges for an alleged burglar.

28-year-old Louis Cosimeno of Ilion was brought into the correctional facility on burglary charges when a deputy noticed something in his shorts.

Cosimeno was brought into a changing room to get out of his street clothes and became combative. A struggle ensued and Cosimeno struck an officer in the face. After being subdued several suboxone strips were discovered in Cosimeno's mouth.

As a result Cosimeno, a parolee, is now also facing a charge of promoting prison contraband. Bail was set at $10,000 and he will appear in court at a later date to answer for the charge.
