Amber Alert Out For Rochester Children

UPDATE: As of 2:44 p.m., the Amber Alert was called off, according to the Utica Police Department.

Rochester, NY (WIBX) - An Amber Alert has been issued by Rochester Police for two children.

Police say 1-year-old Darius Lee and 3-year-old Jeremiah Baker, were abducted in Rochester this morning at approximately 4 a.m.

Both children are African American with black hair and brown eyes. Lee weighs about 18 pounds and is approximately 23 inches tall. Baker weighs about 30 pounds and stands about 2 feet, 8 inches tall.

Both children were last seen wearing pajamas.

The suspect is 25-year-old Kenneth Smith, who police say is a 6-foot-tall black male weighing approximately 190 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. Smith is driving a Gray Chevy Malibu with  NY licence plate number EUR2895.

The suspect was involved with an altercation with Lee and Baker's mother.
