8 Things To Know If You’re Going to Backstreet Boys At SPAC

After an almost two year postponement, Backstreet Boys are finally ready to rock your body right at SPAC tonight. The DNA World Tour makes its Capital Region stop for three hours of 90s dreams at 7:30 with the best selling boy band of all time. Here's what to know before you go scream for AJ, Nick, Howie, Kevin, and Brian.

Can You Still Buy Tickets?

Yes! There are still lots of cheaper lawn tickets available, or if you want to be under the cover you can splurge on some seats that will get you almost as close to the band as you wanted when you had their posters on your bedroom wall.

How Early Can You Get There?

SPAC's parking lot opens at 4p and gates open at 6p if you want to snag that perfect lawn or pit spot.

What's The Forecast?

Blazing hot. Today's high is one degree off another boy band at 97. Temperature at showtime will still be around 90 and by the end it will drop to 82. There may be a few clouds around, but expect mostly sun. Start drinking water now, bring a hat to keep in the shade, and wear sunscreen.

It's So Hot! Can I Bring A Drink With Me?

You can bring a water bottle, but it still has to be sealed when you pass through security. SPAC food policy also allows a clear gallon zip bag for snacks. They'll also sell food and drink onsite.

Can I Bring My Bag or Purse To SPAC?

Per venue policy:

To reduce staff contact with guest belongings, we have implemented the following bag policy: we will allow clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (4.5”x 6.5”). No other bags of any type will be allowed.

I'm On The Lawn. Can I Bring A Chair?

SPAC lets you bring a chair, as long as it fits their policy. It must be a collapsible camping chair that isn't taller than 43" when collapsed. You can't have any other attachments like canopies and footrests. They'll check your chair on entry and if it doesn't match policy, you'll have to leave it behind. You can also bring a small blanket to sit on.

Is There An Opening Act?

Backstreet Boys are currently touring with Delta Goodrem, one of Australia's biggest pop stars of all time. Her debut album, Innocent Eyes, is the second-best selling Australian album of all time and she's had nine number ones down under. She was also a fan-favorite coach on the Aussie version of The Voice for several seasons. Sounds like she's not to be missed!
