A Baldwinsville man is in custody after hitting the side of a New York State Police car stopped along the side of the road during a traffic stop.

On September 19, 2013 39-year old Joshua Clark allegedly tried to pass a troop car along State Route 49 in Constantia when he hit the driver's side mirror.  Police say he did not stop until troopers caught up with him several miles down the road.

According to authorities Clark had a blood/breath alcohol concentration level of .16%, which is twice the legal limit.  He was subsequently arrested for driving while intoxicated.

Clark is scheduled to appear in the Town of Constantia court in October.
