The baseball world lost one of its all-time legends on Saturday as Hall of Famer and three-time MVP Stan 'The Man' Musial passed away at the age of 92, according to the St. Louis Cardinals

Musial won seven National League batting crowns and appeared in 24 All-Star games, spending all 22 big league seasons with the St. Louis Cardinals (ESPN explains MLB used to have two All-Star games in describing how he had had more AS games than season played).

Musial had a .331 career batting average with a total of 475 home runs and 1951 RBI. His playing career spanned 1941-1963, minus the 1945 season which he missed while serving in the Navy.
