Blue Jays Rough Up Kuroda, Yanks

The Toronto Blue Jays bounced Hiroki Kuroda (3-5) around for eight hits and seven runs over five innings, en route to an 8-1 win over the Yankees at the Rogers Centre on Wednesday night.

Edwin Encarnacion hit his 13th homer as part of a three-hit, three RBI night. J.P. Arencibia drove in two with three hits and a homer, while Kelly Johnson also had a pair of RBI's. Jose Batista hit his ninth homer.

Kyle Drabek allowed just three hits and a run in the seven innings as he improved to 3-4.

Mark Teixeira had one of New York's three hits on the night, and an RBI.

The Yankees (20-17) have lost three of four.
