Jason Heyward's RBI single in the eighth inning capped a three-run rally as the Atlanta Braves busted the Mets bullpen for a 8-7 victory on Saturday at Turner Field.

Freddie Freeman, Michael Bourne and Eric Hinske each had a pair of RBI's helping Atlanta grab the first two games of the series.

Tim Byrdak, Pedro Beato and Bobby Parnell were each charged with a run in the eighth as the Mets dropped their fourth straight.

Starter R.A. Dickey was tagged for five runs and eight hits over five inning but left with a 6-5 lead after New York staged its own three run rally in the top of the sixth.

Ike Davis clubbed his 13th homer of the year off of Atlanta starter Tommy Hanson, who was charged with six run in 5 1/3 innings.

Ruben Tejada drove in two runs.

Anthony Varvaro (1-0) picked up his first win while Craig Kimbrel earned his 27th save.
