[UPDATE] Man Demands Drugs In Robbery At Herkimer Hannaford Location

The pharmacy at the Hannaford store in Herkimer was robbed this morning, according to Herkimer Police.

Sources tell WIBX 950 the suspect said he was armed and was 'threatening to shoot people' if he didn't get a supply of the powerful prescription medications Percocet and Hydrocodone.

The suspect did make off with some drugs and police are currently at the scene investigating, the source told WIBX.

Police say the suspect (photo above) was last seen running toward Basset Healthcare and possibly entered a silver colored sedan (below).

Anyone who was in the area around 10:41am and witnessed an individual matching the photograph above or who has information related to the incident is asked to contact Herkimer PD at 315-866-4330
