Brookfield Man Arrested For Sexually Abusing 14 Year Old

A Brookfield man has been arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl.

44-year old Jason Edson is charged with rape, sexual abuse, forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child, along with criminal possession of marijuana.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says Edson sexually abused the girl on multiple occasions in the Town of Eaton and the Town of Brookfield.

Deputies say the sexual abuse happened from October to December of this year.

Edson was arraigned at the Town of Eaton Court and sent to the Madison County Jail on $25,000 bail.
