Utica, NY (WIBX) - As Thanksgiving is approaching, many people are hopping on airplanes to see family, but 61 percent of people are opposing full body scans and pat-downs by the Transportation Security Administration.

That from a Zogby Interactive poll that asked over 2,000 likely voters.

In addition to the opposition, 52 percent believe the enhanced security measures will not prevent terrorist activity.

The poll also found 48 percent of American will choose a different mode of transportation when possible due to the new TSA body scans and pat-downs.
