CNY Schools Mourning Death Of Football Player

Syracuse, NY - (WIBX) - High schools in Central New York are still in shock after a football player died from a head injury over the weekend. It happened during Friday night's varsity game at Homer Central when a lineman for visiting Phoenix Central suffered an injury during the third quarter. Sixteen-year-old Ridge Barden was rushed to a nearby hospital and later died. His death was ruled accidental.
