Comets Look To Bolster Roster With Cody Kunyk

The Utica Comets have made another addition to their roster after signing forward Cody Kunyk to an AHL contract for the upcoming season.

Kunyk spent last season in Denmark where he finished second on his team in goals and points, and before that logged 26 points in 69 games with the Syracuse Crunch.

Before turning pro, he was one of the top 15 scorers in the history of the University of Alaska-Fairbanks.

Kunyk is a native of Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada and was named the WCHA player of the year for the 2013-2014 season.
