The soaring Utica Comets continue to find ways to win as they racked-up two more victories this weekend, running their win streak to six games.

The Comets - playing without Reid Boucher and Darren Archibald, who were recalled to Vancouver midweek - won 2-1 in a thriller over Laval on Friday night, and took a back and forth struggle, 4-3 against Belleville on Saturday. Utica improved to 13-1-2 since the calendar turned to 2018 and are riding a 12-game point streak.

Utica (26-14-9) began last weekend fourth in North Division but entering action on Sunday, the Comets were sitting a tie with Rochester for second (61 points).

The Comets play three times this week including two at Adirondack Bank Center:

  • WED. vs. Syracuse Crunch (7:00)
  • FRI. vs. Binghamton Devils (7:00)
  • SAT. @ Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins (7:05)
