Contract Awarded For Ilion Water Project

The Village of Ilion has awarded a nearly $2.8 million contract to Peter Luizzi and Brothers Construction for the Village's Well Transmission Main project.

Village officials say construction is expected to start within the next month along Third Avenue.

It will continue through the fall and winter months.

Phase one of the project will run a pipeline from a well site to the water treatment plant just south of the village.
