An Oswego County man convicted of molesting seventeen children is scheduled to be released from prison.

Raymond Younis pleaded guilty in 1998 to 86 counts of sexual abuse.  Authorities say the number of abused boys may be much higher, but they were only able to secure proof in cases involving seventeen young boys.

Upon his release on July 14, 2014 Younis will be classified as a Level 3 Sex Offender.

Among the restrictions placed on Younis after his release is a ban on drinking alcohol and a prohibition on him having contact with anyone under the age of 18.
