Crime Stoppers Tip Leads To Fugitive Arrest In Rome

A tip received by Mohawk Valley Crime Stoppers has led to the arrest of a Rome woman.

Rome Police had been looking for 42-year old Marqueta Armstrong since a burglary on Washington Street in July of last year..

The tip provided information on the whereabouts of Armstrong, who had recently returned to the Rome area.

Armstrong was taken into custody and charged with criminal possession of stolen property.  She's being held in Rome Police lock up.
