Cuomo’s Approval Rating Falls
Governor Andrew Cuomo's approval rating has taken a major hit after he pushed through strict gun laws earlier this month.
Cuomo's rating fell from 74-percent last month to 59-percent in a new Quinnipiac University poll.
Pollster Mickey Carroll says Cuomo's support among Republican's in New York plunged from 68% before the gun law to just 44% in the latest poll.
Carroll notes Cuomo's approval numbers are still high at 59%.
