Custody Battle Lands Utica Man In Police Custody After Violent Outburst

Utica, NY (WIBX) - After being served with custody papers, a Utica man ended up in police custody after punching a hole in his girlfriends wall. That's according to Utica Police who arrested the 23-year-old man. Officials say Raymond Denis of Jefferson Avenue also broke his girlfriend's DVD player during the tirade that landed him in jail. Denis is now facing 2nd Degree Criminal Contempt, Resisting Arrest and 4th Degree Criminal Mischief charges. Police say, at the time of the incident, Denis had an active order of protection against him.
