Utica, NY (WIBX) - Local business owners who suffered damages in two severe storms last year are being urged to contact the Oneida County Department of Planning.

It's the first step in a process that could result in funding to address damage caused by Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee.

The money is being made available by the State Office of Community Renewal.

Business owners must first fill out a needs assessment.

The deadline to file the assessment is next Tuesday, April 3rd.

For more information, call Regina Venettozzi at 798-5710.
