Early access and deferral registration for the 2017 Boilermaker opened this afternoon.

Open registration for remaining slots will become available to the general public on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at noon.

Early access is available for both the 15k and the 5k races for those who ran in the 2016 Boilermaker in less than 2-hours and 30-minutes, or to those who finished the 5k in less than 45-minutes. Also, deferral registrations from the 2016 race are being accepted now.

Expecting an even larger than normal in this year's Boilermaker - the 40th - race officials have expanded the race cap to 14,500 (up from 14,000). The 5k cap remains 4,500.
