The Mohawk Valley Is Going Red For Women’s Health

As part of Go Red celebrations in the Mohawk Valley businesses and residents are being asked to bathe their buildings in red light.

Hoping to create glowing awareness of the threat of heart disease and stroke, the number one killer of women in the United States, WIBX and Townsquare Media will promote those who put a red light on the outside of their businesses and homes on our website at wibx950.com.

Participants can shine a red light on their offices, string a row of red lights in their cubicles, or put a red light on front porches.

If you want to participate you can do the following:

• Shine a red light on your home or business so that it is lit at 4:00pm on Friday, February 6^th;
• Encourage others you know to do the same;
• Upload your photo to Twitter or Instagram using #GoRedCNY and include @WIBXnews in the post, or send us a photo of your home or business’ red light to: news@WIBX950.com.  Put “Go Red” in the subject line and send us photo credit and permission to use in your e-mail.
