Fatal Logging Accident Investigation Continues

Nelson, NY (WIBX) - A 36-year-old Madison County man is dead following a logging accident.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says it happened in a wooded area off Old State Road in Nelson last evening.

Brett Armstrong, who is from Nelson, was found at the scene and pronounced dead. The Sheriff's office has not released details about how Armstrong was killed.

The plan to release more information following after they receive autospy results.
