Fatal Snowmobile Accident In Madison County

A Syracuse man is dead after crashing his snowmobile.

State Police say 27-year old Andrew Guelfi of Sheridan Road was riding along a trail in the Town of Deruyter in Madison County when he hit a tree.

Guelfi was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Madison County Coroner asked the Onondaga County Medical Examiners Office to investigate.  New York State Police were also assisted by the New Woodstock Fire Department.
