Firefighters Battle Blaze At Hotel In Upstate New York

LATHAM, N.Y. (AP) — Authorities say firefighters in upstate New York are battling a blaze at a hotel and have had to rescue some guests from the roof.

WRGB-TV says (http://bit.ly/2d5h0QI ) flames could be seen shooting through the roof of the Travelodge Inn and Suites in Latham late Saturday. It says crews evacuated guests from their rooms but some had to be rescued from the roof. There were no immediate reports of injuries.

At least one road in the area has been closed.
