If you are asking for whom the bell tolls on Boilermaker Sunday, it tolls for you - if, that is, you are a runner who makes it as far as the eight-mile mark.

M&T Bank is giving away cowbells to help create a mile-long cheer zone for spectators to ring in their support for participants.

In a written release Allen J. Naples, Central New York Regional President for M&T Bank, says, "The Boilermaker has become a premier event for the Utica community, attracting runners from across the country, and all over the world."

In addition to the bells, the "M&T Mile" will also feature music and water to help get runners through the final stretch of the course.  Boilermaker Executive Director Tim Reed said, "We know the runners will appreciate the efforts of M&T to make this mile one to look forward to - not one to dread."

The 37th Boilermaker Road Race takes place on Sunday, July 13, 2014.
