A former student in the Camden Central School District has been arrested by State Police for allegedly threatening to "shoot up school."

23-year old Bradley Davis, Junior is charged with making a terroristic threat.

Police say an acquaintance of Davis called police because he was concerned about messages he had received via Facebook messenger in which Davis indicated that he planned a school shooting at an unidentified school in the Camden School District.

Davis, who is a transient, was located at a friend's home in Oneida and taken into custody without incident.

Troopers say at the time of his arrest, Davis did not have any access to any weapons and it does not appear that there had been any ongoing planning for the event,

The Camden School District was closed following the threat.
