Fugitive From Maryland Arrested In Rome

A fugitive wanted in Maryland was arrested as he was being released from the Mohawk Correctional Facility in Rome

State Police say 52-year old Arthur Duckfield, Junior was found to have an active arrest warrant from Washington County Maryland for failing to register a a change of address as a sex offender.

He was charged as a Fugitive from Justice.

Duckfield is being held in the Oneida County jail without bail pending extradition proccedings.
