Gas Prices Remain Stable In New York State
Gasoline prices in New York state remain about the same this week.
That's according to the latest survey by AAA Northeast.
Regional General Manager Ed Welsh says despite a three cent average increase nationally, gas prices in New York state remain relatively stable.
AAA's October 1 survey of prices in New York State finds self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $2.99 per gallon. The state price is about ten cents higher than the national average for regular unleaded of $2.88. A year ago at this time, the average price in New York State was 25 cents lower at $2.74.
The average price in the Utica-Rome area is $2.94 a gallon, which is down about a penny from last week.
