Georgina Bloomberg Says Dad’s Soda Ban Is Flat

New York, NY (WIBX) - Saying that her dad's intentions are good, New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg's daughter Georgina is panning dad's attempts to ban the sale of sugary drinks 16-ounces and bigger in Gotham.

At a cocktail party for Gucci's Frida Gianni, the 29-year old socialite, who prefers Fresca, acknowledged that while this legislation is "the kind of thing that the public will thank (her dad) for in twenty years," she said that "people should be allowed to make their own bad choices."

Georgina added that a better way to get New Yorkers to eat better is to lower the prices of healthy foods so that they are not less expensive than junk food.
