Congressman Richard Hanna is donating his pay to two charitable organizations duirig the federal government shutdown.

Hanna says each day the government is closed, he'll give his pay to the United Way and the Wounded Warrior Project.

Hanna has also co-sponsored the Government Fairness Shutdown Act, which would ensure that members of Congress do not take a salary during a government shutdown.

And he's sent a letter to Defense Secretary Charles Hagel, imploring him to bring the back the 100 civilian personnel at Rome Lab who have been furloughed.
